Beginning After The June 2021 SAT Administration, The SAT Essay Would No Longer Be Offered. I Alerted West Point That This SAT Essay Update Meant They Needed To Make Another Change To The Essay Requirement Listed On Their Admissions Web Page.

Notice the red comma after West Point above. This comma is called The Oxford Comma and is used when listing items in a series. You Must Use The Oxford Comma On Both The SAT and ACT. You may come across many websites - even the websites of SAT and ACT tutors - that do not use the Oxford Comma. When it comes to these websites, ignore their lack of the use of the Oxford Comma, most likely they are following grammar style manuals that do not require it. Remember, both the SAT and the ACT require you use the Oxford Comma.
